Telefónica 🗑️ The New Color of Recycling
The world’s E-Waste is a huge problem and we reach an average of 1,5 million tons per year. In this scenario, Vivo, the largest Brazil's telecom, has started a discussion about the importance of E-Waste recycling.

The PURPLE is worldwide used for E-WASTE and by coincidence is the Vivo’s main color brand. So, we appropriated this to promote the theme in Brazil.

We also created a new logo for the program based on the universal Recycling Symbol, that is in the Public Domain. So, anyone may use or modify.

COLOR-CODED BINS always helped the public how to select different types of waste. So, we started our campaign creating our own PURPLE BINS.

And a social campaign helped to promote the news.

Now you can find our BINS in more than 1,000 Vivo stores
in Brazil, that are transformed into collection points
for E-Waste recycling.
